Dionisios Pnevmatikatos, Professor and former Chair of the Electronic and Computing Engineering Department, Researcher at the Computer Architecture and VLSI Systems (CARV) Laboratory of the Institute of Computer Science, FORTH (Greece) and representative of Forth for the AXIOM Consortium gave a talk entitled “Runtime Support for Self-Awareness in Interconnected CPS Systems” at the “Beyond Self-Aware Embedded Computing” session during the Hipeac Computing Systems Week at Oslo on Thursday, May 7, 2015.
Scope of the talk was to examine the status of adaptable systems and the required steps to move towards more intelligent or “aware” systems. DeSyRe and AXIOM have been preminent subject of the talk.
The audience was about 15 people, both from the academia and industry environment, ARM and IBM representatives included.
