As settled in the kick-off meeting of DATE 2016, held on March 13, 2015 in Grenoble, France, the Professor Roberto Giorgi, coordinator of the AXIOM project, has been appointed European Projects Chair of DATE 2016.

DATE – Design, Automation and Test in Europe – is an annual conference about Electronic System Design and Test, which gathers world-wide attention and participation by the scientific community each year.

DATE 2015 received 1450 registrations from all over the world and 915 eligible paper submissions – representing a 3% increase over DATE 2014 – with an ample share (45%) coming from Europe and significant attendance also from North-America (24%) and Asia (28%). 

This appointment represents an acknowledgment of merit of the AXIOM project coordinator Roberto Giorgi, and a great opportunity to involve the scientific community in the AXIOM project.
